junto a Las dos fridas de 1939 y de dimensiones amplias . De existir “La Mesa Herida” 1940 mide 1.20 x 2.45 metros. Se sabe que fue exhibida en 1940 como lo refleja esta foto y en el año de 1955 en la exposición de artes plásticas de México en Polonia, de la que se publicó un catálogo cuya presentación estuvo a cargo de Karol Wende, secretario general del Comité de Relaciones Culturales con el extranjero, un texto más es de Julius Starynski, profesor en la Universidad de Varsovia y director allí del Instituto Nacional de Arte, sin duda “La Mesa Herida” 1940 es hoy en dia un tesoro oculto.
